I have designed the small print business to take care of itself. I have someone be able to do the work of the small fluorescent dotwork prints or find a service that can do the prints.
I have expanded the production and add new spirit animals and rework some of the early ones, more designy/representational than the early ones I did early on.
I have also designed some UV wall clocks in shadow boxes with different different indigenous and historical numbering systems (some funny ones too!). They fly off the shelf as they have an educational element to them and are interesting and conversation starters.

People call with recommendations for galleries around the country, reaching into South America (Peru) and Europe (Ireland) also.
I enjoy painting larger 2×4” paintings like for yard screens or dividers. They could be for indoors also.
I paint faster with confidence, deliberate with knowledge. My friend Bob Terrell who sadly passed a year ago has been a great influence in this direction. And I still feel him with me.
Business has been so good that I’ve been able to hire someone as a business assistant and marketing sales-person.
I have been traveling more. I’ve really missed being a traveler from a young life and look forward to new places that I’ve always wanted to see and experience.
Mi Casa
On a hill the house, cylindrical in shape, I have been living facing east to see the early morning lightening of the sky and the sunrise. The property is about 5 acres in size. It is in Hawaii, not too humid (average would be about 50%) and the rainfall moderate but robust enough to support rain catchment. This center space is the living room, social center, music center. To the east, the front of the house there are floor to ceiling windows looking out over the valley to the ocean. Breezes filter through the room. A bamboo floor for the whole space. I like the feeling and the sound of the bamboo floor under my feet. A lanai with a railing circles the structure.
A beautiful green lawn, low-maintenance like perennial peanuts, and ornamental decorative native plants splash the land with bright color.
The center of the living room is a sunken area with cushions around the circle for groups of 10-12 people to sit, talk, meditate, play music. In the center is a fireplace. On the walls around the room are musical instruments, indigenous style artwork, a lot of it mine. There are nooks to hold special meaningful art spiritual objects. A portion of this room is devoted to playing, recording music. There is another area for painting and artwork. Another area for teaching/practicing QiGong meditation practices.
I have a labyrinth garden with an altar and fire pit at the center. In four directions around the center of the garden there are 4 standing art panels 2×4 (or more) feet illustrating a different aspect of creation with creatures of Earth, Air, Fire, Water. They will have fluorescent layers of color on them. There are trees which circle the garden.
The property is off-grid. Solar panels on the roof. The rain is plentiful enough to keep a catchment tank full of water for the needs of the property. A good Internet system
Lots of birds, bird sounds. The sound of wind through the trees. The property is fenced to keep out feral pigs and dogs. A pet? Not sure about that yet.
The kitchen with dining room is outdoors, in a separate structure from the house. I’ve grown fond of those in Hawaii. Lots of room. Lots of air.
There is an office space, bedrooms, all hales separate from the main part of the house a utility room. There is a room climate controlled for the storage of art in an out-building. The main circular structure is for creativity and social gatherings.
I created the property to my vision. There is a guest room or two for visitors. With a co-creative woman/lover/partner we have separate rooms so that we greet each other each day with a freshness and we can keep our space in accordance with our needs, standards and design. (Mahalo for that Satyen)
